Make Lunches for Merton Center

About the Event
This pandemic has severely impacted our neighbors in Bridgeport and demand for food at The Thomas Merton Center has skyrocketed since the COVID-19 crisis began. Many of our clients are hourly workers who have recently lost their job as well as immigrants, homeless, or mentally ill individuals struggling to make ends meet.
They are now serving 400-500 meals on most days up from 150 per day at this time last year. In addition to our own clients, we are now delivering to both churches and other Bridgeport non-profits, including the YMCA and homeless shelters, who do not have access to food resources for those in need of nourishment in their neighborhoods.
Please know how very grateful we are for your help and support! Thank you for helping us treat every human being, especially those who are most vulnerable, with the love and respect they deserve!
